9 Month Bear Pics

Today we had her 9 month check-up. She was 14 lbs even and 27 inches long. She's still our little long and lean baby!

It's getting harder and harder to keep her still! This time I wasn't able to take as many to choose from because for some reason she started to cry at the flash of the camera. Poor thing!

I just love this one! I don't think we have many pictures of her sucking on those two fingers, although she always is sucking on them. She looks so sweet. :)

Afternoon at the Park

I found a park that has little baby swings today. Leighton had never tried one so I was so excited to see how she would like them. She was all smiles the first few minutes, so I was able to capture the couple cute pictures below. But, unfortunately soon after she started to pout and cry. I guess it was a little too much for her so we'll have to try it again another day.

Leighton crawls!!

Yesterday morning I watched Leighton scoot herself backwards from her mat into the hallway. I figured that it wouldn't be long before she figures out how to go forward and crawl.

Well, she figured out how to go forward by that evening!! And here's a video to show you:

Easter afternoon we took Leighton for a hike in her new backpack. She seemed to really like it, since she didn't squeal any. :)

Our pretty girl. :) The nursery worker, Ms. Michelle, gave Leighton this bib today at church. It couldn't be more right. God did make Leighton. She's our little angel. :)
