While Leighton is in love with Dora, we knew she had to be Dora for Halloween and what made it even better was that Logan got to be Boots for his 1st Halloween! What a cute pair they made!!
We also bought Leighton the Dora wig, but she pretty much refused to wear it ever, except for one time. And I was able to actually get a picture! She's so silly!
We then had to take the stuffed animal picture with Logan like we did for Leighton's 1st HW. Aren't they cute?
Wow! They really look SO much alike as babies!
For Leighton to trick-or-treat, we decided to meet some friends in another neighborhood. It was a lot of fun seeing all the kids having so much fun! Leighton did so well this year, although she was still a little shy to actually say "trick-or-treat." :)
Last week, Leighton was following me through the kitchen in a run, then tripped and fell flat on her face. She ended up chipping one of her front teeth, so I scheduled a dentist appt right away. Poor thing! We decided to go to Dr. Greenleaf at Auburn Pediatric Dentistry, b/c we had several friends who already go there. She did pretty well on her 1st visit. They even had a TV on the ceiling for her to watch cartoons. She seemed interested in all the tools until it was time to actually use them in her mouth. Logan, of course, slept through it all! The dentist was able to check out her teeth really quick and said that the chip wasn't too bad. Thankfully, it's just a baby tooth and will fall out. There didn't appear to be any damage to the gum, so all in all, it was a good visit. She even got to come home with a pink monkey shirt!
Our church puts on an incredible Fall festival filled with a bouncey house, train ride, trunk or treat games, face painting, free dinner, and the list goes on. Logan still slept through it, but Leighton loved it!
Carson turned 3!! He had a Veggie Tales theme party at the church. The kids watched a puppet show and played lots of games. Leighton had a blast and Logan once again slept through it all! lol
Logan is 2 months!! He's now 9 lbs 8 oz. I'm still BFing him full time and he's still waking up once a night.
Leighton's preschool class had a Fall party on 10/27. This was the first one that Logan could attend. They both look like they're having so much fun. lol
Leighton had her 1st school pictures taken last week and they turned out so good! She looks like such a big girl!!
Jason turned 1!! He had a Bama themed party. I can't believe I did it, but I even wore an "A" on my face. That just shows how much I love the little guy. Renate really outdid herself! All the treats and decor were so amazing!
